Practical Parenting FAQs Portland Oregon

You’ve got questions. I’ve got answers.

I've mostly got the hang of this parenting thing, but there are a few areas I'd love to tweak. Which service is for me?

A one-on-one Parent Coaching session during which I work with you to identify the main challenges you face everyday. Together, we’ll develop a plan to move toward change in your home beginning THAT DAY.

YOU decide what you want to change; I help you change it.

After a one-hour initial consultation, you’ll have proven strategies and techniques to put into use right away.  Together we’ll decide when and how often we’ll meet to continue work on your plan.

My child needs some help at school, can you help?

I gladly offer School Visits. Together with you and your child’s teacher, we’ll help your child be more successful in his/her school or day care environment. This may include assistance with Special Education Services/IEP development/school advocacy.

Do you provide trainings to other professionals?

Absolutely! I can provide training to your pre-school or childcare center and offer state required continuing education credits for your staff. Topics can be tailored to fit the needs of your center or staff. Contact me today to get started!

We've been advised to seek Parent Coordination Services - do you provide this service?

Yes! These services are often recommended by a family law professional or the court system for families struggling with custody or co-parenting.
